WHAT WE OFFER
SwimKids is primarly an Ex-Pat Swim School that offers swimming lessons to children of all nationalities, aged between four to twelve years old. Swimming lessons in the Netherlands are based on the principal of safety. It is a necessity for children to learn how to deal with difficult water situations, due to the amount of canals, lakes, beaches, and watersports that exist in The Netherlands. Our swimming lessons are given primarly in English and Dutch. All children’s swimming abilities are assessed during their initial free trial lesson after registration. Children need to be registered with us before their free trial can be arranged.

WATER SAFETY
Our basic water safety course is for children with little or no experience of water. By using games and floating materials, children gradually learn to be comfortable and safe in and under the water.
€ 27,50 per child, for one lesson per week of 45 minutes.
€ 23,50 per second child, for one lesson per week of 45 minutes.
ELEMENTARY SWIMMING
Our elementary swimming level is where children learn the basic swimming strokes and have courage and confidence to float independently.
€ 27,50 per child, for one lesson per week of 45 minutes.
€ 23,50 per second child, for one lesson per week of 45 minutes.
For this course choose ‘Course for A-diploma starters’ when registering.
JUNIOR-LEVEL
In Junior level, children refine all the basic swimming strokes (breast stroke, front crawl, backstroke, and backcrawl). In this level children are acclimatised to swimming in water out of their depth.
€ 27,50 per child, for one lesson per week of 45 minutes.
€ 23,50 per second child, for one lesson per week of 45 minutes.

ABC-DIPLOMA
In this level, children are prepared for their A diploma; B diploma; and C diploma in accordance with Dutch national standards. These diplomas are viewed as the passports for children to take part in all water sports in The Netherlands.

ADVANCED SWIMMING
SwimKids also has advanced swimming courses available. This is a challenging course taken after C diploma; to prepare children for competitive swimming, water polo, and even life-saving for others!
